(Whittier, CA) The Mt. SAC Women's Water Polo team remained perfect in the South Coast Conference with an 11-3 win over host Rio Hondo on Wednesday (Oct. 12).

With the win, the Mounties improved to 11-7 overall.

Leading the way for Mt. SAC was sophomore attacker Alexis Ramirez (3 Steals) with a game-high four goals. Freshman driver Nature Reep (3 Assists, 1 Stl.) had three goals and Xen Allen (3 Stls.) added two.

The Mounties took a 5-1 first-half lead, led by Reep with three of her four goals.

Leading 6-2 after three periods, Mt. SAC scored six goals to put the game away in the final period, led by Ramirez with three.

The Mounties, who lost to Golden West, 11-7, Friday (Oct. 14), will continue SCC action on Wednesday (Oct. 21) at home.
