(Walnut, CA)  The hottest team this season on the Mt. SAC Campus has been the Women's Water Polo Team who have started the season with a perfect 5-0 record.  After a outstanding 2014 season (23-9 record) where the team finsihed third at the SoCal Regional Championships, they have continued ther momenturm into the 2015 season. 

In 2015, Mt. SAC has outscored their first five opponents by an incredible, 73-22 margin.  Leading the Mounties is goal keeper Nicole Pham who set tone for the season with an impressive 12 save performance against Northern California power, San Joaquin Delta College.  

Center Jasmine Bustamante leads the team the 15 goals and Utility Player Jessica Ybarra has 10 goals.  Center Defensive player, has also been a defensive stalwart with 21 steals.

The team will travel on Wednesday, for a conference match against East Los Angeles College and then return home on Friday to host the Mt. SAC Women's Water Polo Tournament (SEP 25-26).
