(Torrance, CA) In the second double meet of the season, the Mt. SAC Women's Swim team swept both El Camino and Pasadena City colleges at El Camino on Friday, March 4.

The Mounties defeated PCC 171-65 and El Camino 189-62.

Mt. SAC won both relays – 200 and 400 Freestyle - and in eight of the 12 individual events, they finished in first place.

In addition, Mt. SAC's Journey Barreto and Shelby Hanss placed one, two, respectively in the 1 Meter Diving event.

Three Mountie swimmers won two events each – Melissa Chavez (100 Breaststroke, 200 Freestyle), Lexis Brattain (50 Free, 100 Backstroke), and Julia de la Garza (200 Breast, 100 Butterfly).

Laila Topino was also first in the 100 Free.
