(Glendora, CA) In the final non-conference game of season, the Mt. SAC Women's Soccer Team lost to host Citrus College, 3-1, on Tuesday, September 25th.

The Mounties (2-5) will open up South Coast Conference play on Friday, September 28th, travelling to Rio Hondo. Game time is 4:00 pm.

Citrus scored twice in the first half with goals in the 17th and 34th minutes, leading at the end of the half, 2-0.  The Mounties came back early in the second half with a goal.

The Mounties came back early in the second half with a goal. when forward Alyssa Gomez (unassisted) scored her second goal of the season (51st minute) to trim the Owls lead to 2-1.

Although the Mounties pelted the Citrus goal with 15 shots in the game (9 in the 2nd half), Citrus added its third goal in the 60th minute, for the 3-1 win.
