Mt. SAC Men's Wrestling takes top spot at SoCal Championships

(San Marcos, CA) At the 3C2A Southern California Regional Championships at Palomar College on Saturday, Dec. 2, Mt. San Antonio College placed first as a team with 223.5 points. Cerritos College came in second with 170 points and Bakersfield College took third with 135.5.

For the Mounties, the day's action included first-place finishes from Chris Calderon (125 lbs.), Alex Ramirez (157 lbs.) and Nathan Cruz (174 lbs.).

Second-place finishes came from Adrian Limon (125 lbs.), Zachary Parker (141 lbs.) and Dib Sawaya (285 lbs.).

Pedro Lacerda (133 lbs.) and Brian Gieger (149 lbs.) turned in third-place performances for Mt. SAC.

Next up for the Mounties are the 3C2A State Championships at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo on Friday, Dec. 8.
