Women’s Golf wins forth OEC Match of the season; Loera, Lau card 74’s

(Chino, CA) The Mt. SAC Women's Golf team kept up the hot pace with another perfect day to remain first in the Orange Empire Conference on Monday (Sept. 2) at Prado Damn Golf Course.

For the fourth time in five OEC matches, the Mounties, who hosted the event, finished with a perfect 6-0 record on the day and added to their first place hold in conference.

Mt. SAC (311), with another dominating day in match play, won by a wide margin (31 strokes) over second place Fullerton (342) and third place College of the Desert (347).

After five matches, the Mounties (29-1) hold down first place over second place COD (24-6) and third place Fullerton (22-8). Mt. SAC has finished with a 6-0 record in all but one OEC match this season.

Kayla Loera (74) and Kylie Lau (74) led the way for the Mounties, who finished with a three-way tie for first. Teammates Natalie Neal (78) and Alana Lo (85) rounded out the scoring for Mt. SAC.

The Annual North/South Invitational at Morro Bay GC will occur on Sunday and Monday (Oct. 8, 9).
