(Norwalk, CA) At the Cerritos College Open Meet on Saturday, Feb. 19, the Mt. San Antonio College Men's Track and Field Team turned in eight first place, eight-second place, and six third-place finishes. In all, 10 teams competed in the meet, including one university: Cal State Los Angeles.

Of particular note, Mountie athletes occupied the top seven spots in the pole vault, the top four spots in the long jump, and the top three spots in the shot put. Also, Mt. SAC competitors captured the top two spots in the javelin, the triple jump, the high jump, and the 3,000-meter run.

The Mounties will next compete in the Invitational Hammer and Javelin Meet at Mt. SAC on Friday, Feb. 25, and in the Cal State Los Angeles Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 26.
