(Riverside, CA) The Mt. SAC Men's and Women's Track and Field Prgram produced many strong performances against Riverside Community College (RCC), but in the end, it was the Tigers taking the win in both the men's (44-101) and women's (67-78) competition.

For the Mounties, strong performances were put in by Dominic Jones (SO), who captured the Long Jump, 100 Meters and anchored the winning 4X100M Relay Team.  Along with Jones, Marquise Cherry (SO) captured the Men's Triple Jump and Reed White (FR) lead the Mt. SAC Men's Pole Vault Sweep of the event.

On the women's side, the women's Pole Vaulters, like the men's pole vaulters swept the event, led by winner Kimberly Amaya (SO).  Individual event winners included Crystal Gonzales (FR) in the Mile, Deboarh Dornisch (FR) in the 2 Mile, Sharise West (FR) in the 60M Hurdles, Robyn Brown (FR) in the 400M Hurdles, the Women's 4X400M Relay (Brown, Burch, Edwards, Grigore), Terris Williams (FR) in the Long Jump and Melanie Samvalian (FR) in the Shot Put.

For the first time in decades, the two mightiest programs, Mt. SAC and RCC met up in Riverside, to compete head to head against each other in "The Dual."  In the past twenty years, 19 of the possible 40 state championships (men and women) have been captured by either Mt. SAC (11) or Riverside (8).
