(Los Angeles, CA) Los Angeles City College (4-7-2, 2-0-1) and Mt. San Antonio College (3-4-6, 1-1-1) each scored a goal within the first 15 minutes of their South Coast Conference North Division contest on Tuesday, Oct. 10, then neither scored again and the game ended in a 1-1 tie.

Edgar Silva put the Mounties up 1-0 in the 10th minute on an assist from Kenneth Flores. The host Cubs responded with an unassisted goal by Armando Villegas in the 15th minute to knot the score.

Mt. SAC will next travel to Long Beach City College (7-3-2, 1-1-1) for an SCC crossover game on Friday, Oct. 13, at 4 p.m.
