Freshman Defensive Lineman Lonetona Toailoa Isara Named To Community College All-America First Team

(Sacramento, CA)  Freshman Defensive Lineman Lonetona Toailoa Isara was named to the 2016 Community College Football All-America First Team.  Toailoa Isara prepped in Auckland, New Zealand and has adapted into an outstanding defensive lineman. On the season, Toailoa Isara had 30 tackles, 4 sacks and 16 assisted tackles.  He was a major factor on the outstanding Mountie Defense that ranked in the top 10 (state) in nearly every defensive statistical category.

"I am very proud of the accomplishments and accolades Lonetona has received," replied Head Coach Bob Jastrab.  "He is a fantastic individual who is a standout on our outstanding state leading defense."

Along with Toailoa Isara, three other Mounties were named to the All-California Football First Team which included:

  • Brandon Gracia (Freshman Kicker) FG 11-19, PAT 45 for 46, 78 Points
  • Neal Nelson (Freshman Inside Linebacker) 35 Tackles, 1.5 Sacks
  • Michael Johnson (Freshman Free Safety) 49 Tackles, 6 INT, 1 Forced Fumble
