(Walnut, CA) The Mt. SAC Beach Volleyball team got back on the winning track with a 4-1 win over visiting Cerritos College, 4-1, in South Coast Conference action on Friday, March 15 at "Mountie Beach".

After suffering their first conference loss of the season a week ago to Long Beach City College, the Mounties improved to 14-2 and 3-1.

Mt. SAC holds down second place behind LBCC, which is undefeated at 4-0. Six conference matches remain, as the Mounties take to the road on Friday, March 22 at El Camino.

Against the Falcons, the Mounties 1's, (Zyra Green/Andrea Brewer), 2's (Candace Ceballos/Angie Griego) and 3's (Liz Ortiz/Capri Salmon) all swept their opponents with straight-set wins.

The 5's (Eva Becerra/Freda Lei) went the distance in three sets also for a win, while the 4's (Naara Ortega/Sam Parks) suffered a three-set loss.
