Austin Hernandez is the Head Dance Team Coach (2023) with several years of experience in teaching and choreographing dance routines, Austin has become a vital part of our dance team.

Austin's journey in dance began at Mt. San Antonio College, where he was a member of the Dance Team and then Broncettes Dance Team at Cal Poly Pomona. During his time on the teams, he served as Captain for two years and Vice President for one year. He also won two NDA Hip Hop National Championships during his time at the college.

After college, Austin worked as a Dance Teacher and Choreographer at Spotlight Unlimited Studio, where he received the accolade of Best Choreography. He then went on to become a Volunteer Dance Team Coach at Mt. San Antonio College, where he continued to share his passion for dance with the next generation of dancers.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Austin has also received an A.A. in Psychology from Mt. San Antonio College and a B.A. in Psychology from Cal Poly Pomona. He enjoys journaling, spending time with friends, and shopping at Lululemon.

Austin currently resides in Chino, CA.
