(Walnut, CA) With a three-set sweep over Cerritos College, the Mounties remained perfect in the South Coast Conference (2-0) and improved to 9-3 overall on Wednesday (September 21).

The Mounties dominated all three sets with the 25-16, 25-13, 25-17 scores.

Mt. SAC was led by sophomore Riley DeGroot (7 Digs) with eight kills (.269), JJ Quarrels had six kills (.333) and with four kills each Angelina Burton and Allison Whiteman (.333).

Kylie Rhodes (5 Digs, 2 SA) had 12 assists and Capri Salmon (7 Digs, 1 SA) added 10.

Sophomore libero Riannel Arevalo led the team with 10 digs

Mt. SAC continues SCC action with a match at Pasadena City College on Wednesday (September 28).
