Kody Robison joined the Mt. SAC Track and Field Staff in the fall of 2019, handling the throws (discus, hammer, javelin, shot put) program for the Mounties.

Prior to arriving at Mt. SAC, Robison served two years as a volunteer throws coach at his alma mater, Long Beach State University (CSULB).  At Long Beach State he worked under his former and well respected throws coach, Cory Loebl.  During his two years coaching with the 49'ers, he helped maintain the strong throwing tradition and helped guide six throwers to the NCAA Western Preliminaries, along with six athletes earning All-Big West Conference Honors.

As a student-athlete at Long Beach State, Robison competed in all of the throwing events where he helped lead his team to four Big West Conference Team Championships.  A two-time conference champion in the hammer and three time podium finisher in the javelin, Robison was awarded the Todd Hart Hall of Fame Award for his courage during his tenure at CSULB.

Robison is a graduate of Long Beach Millikan High School and CSULB, where he received his Bachelors Degree in Human Development.   In his spare time, he enjoys Olympic weightlifting.

Robison is originally from Long Beach (CA) and currently resides in Irvine (CA).
