Carsandra Taylor enters her 9th season ('20-'21) on the Mounties Women's Basketball Staff and her 44th year with the program.  Prior to joining the coaching staff, Taylor served the team and the college for 35 years as head athletic trainer (1977-2012), taking care of the health, safety and well being of thousands of Mt. SAC Student-Athletes in nearly every sport.

In 2015, Taylor was inducted into the Mt. SAC Athletics Hall of Fame for her lifelong work and commitment to Mt. SAC Student-Athletes.

Taylor was a standout Basketball and Track & Field Athlete at Matawan Regional High School (N.J.) where she is a member of her regional high school Hall of Fame.  She is a graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania (West Chester, PA) and was only the second African American Female to be certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association (1976).

Highly respected in the athletic training profession, Taylor has served as athletic trainer at numerous national/international events and for U.S. National Track and Field Teams.  She also served at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games where while aiding fallen runner Mary Decker Slaney, was captured in one of the most iconic sports images off all-time (Sports Illustrated - 100 Greatest Sports Photos of All-Time).

Of all of her accomplishments, she is proudest of her continued commitment to Mt. SAC Student/Athletes.
