(Walnut, CA) Celebration of Life Services for former Mt. SAC Football Head Coach Bill Fisk, will be held on Saturday, February 1st, 2020 at Evergreen Baptist Church SGV in La Puente, CA. The event will begin at 11:00 am and will be officiated by former Mountie and former USC/Seattle Seahawks Coach, Pastor Rocky Seto. Following the service, there will be a social with light refreshments at the church.

(Walnut, CA) It is with great sorrow that the Mt. San Antonio College Athletics Family announces the passing of long time professor and football coach, Bill Fisk. Fisk (age 75) passed away this morning (10/03/19) at his home in Elizabeth, Colorado, after a long battle with prostate cancer. Fisk was part of the Mountie Family for nearly four decades and led Mt. SAC Football to its first national championship in 1997.
During his 18-year career as head coach, he was the first (Mt. SAC Football Coach) to reach 100 wins and finished his career with an overall record of 126 wins, 64 losses and 2 ties (.661 winning percentage). Fisk mentored hundreds of outstanding student-athletes and a number of coaches that went on to excel at the 4-year university and professional ranks.
Fisk garnered numerous honors throughout his career and in retirement was inducted into the California Community College Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame (2016) and Mt. SAC Athletics Hall of Fame (2017).
Fisk prepped at San Gabriel High School and then followed in his father’s legendary footsteps, attending USC where his father coached. At USC, he was a member of the 1962 National Championship Team and was a 1962 All-American at guard. After a short stint in the NFL, Fisk joined Mt. SAC as a professor and coach, where he remained, for his entire career, until retiring in 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Tona, sons David (Laura) and Brady, daughters Kristen (John) and Lauren, grandsons Rider and Hudson and brother Bob.
