Mt. SAC Director of Athletics Joe Jennum Named NATYCAA First Vice President

(Cleveland, OH) Mt. SAC Director of Athletics Joe Jennum has been named 1st Vice President of the National Alliance of Two Year College Athletic Administrators (NATYCAA).  He will serve in this capacity for one year before taking on the leadership of the organization, as president, the following year. 

Jennum has been at the helm of the mighty Mt. SAC Athletics Program since August of 2010.  During his tenure, the Mt. SAC Athletics Program has dominated the California Division of the NATYCAA Cup Award which recognizes the outstanding overall athletics programs at two-year colleges.  The Mounties, under Jennum, have captured a total of eight NATYCAA Cup Championships (9 total and 7 consecutive) and one second place trophy.

Jennum has led the Mounties to a total of 26 California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) State Championships, making him the most successful Director of Athletics in Mt. SAC history.  The Mounties captured the prestigious Learfield Cup (nation’s premier two year college athletics program) during the 2014-15 season and have never lost a South Coast Conference (SCC) Athletics Supremacy Championship under Jennum’s watch.
