(Oxnard, CA) With a team score of 27 points, Mt. SAC placed first as a team at the Oxnard Cross Country Invitational on Friday. College of the Canyons finished second with 64 points and Moorpark took third with 71 points.
Individually, Amanda Crowell finished third in a field of 56, turning in a time of 19:42.3 for the Mounties. Teammates Hannah Brown (20:04.5, 7th place), Claudia Vera (20:06.4, 8th place), and Kaitlyn Atkinson (20:07.2, 9th place) rounded out the top-10 finishes for Mt. SAC.
The Mounties will next compete in the UC Riverside Invite on Saturday, Sept. 18, at 9 a.m. on the UCR Agricultural Operations Course.
