(Fullerton, CA) Mt. SAC opened its season on Saturday at the Mark Covert Classic at Carbon Canyon Regional Park in Fullerton. In a field of 14 teams (most of which were four-year colleges), the Mounties finished in 13th place in the invitational field with a team score of 366 points.
In the open competition, Hannah Brown placed 25th on the five-kilometer course with a time of 21:10.9 for Mt. SAC, while teammate Amanda Crowell finished 63rd in the invitational field at 20:11.8.
The Mounties will next compete in the Oxnard Invite at Oxnard College on Friday, Sept 10, at 9 a.m.
