Mountie Women's Volleyball picks up road win over Riverside

(Riverside, CA) Mt. San Antonio College (12-3) took a break from South Coast Conference play and traveled to Riverside City College (4-9) where they handed the hosts a 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-20) non-conference defeat.

Several Mounties turned in solid performances, including JJ Quarrels (17 kills, two service aces, eight digs), Riannel Arevalo (15 digs, two service aces), Kylie Rhodes (25 assists, two service aces, three digs), Zyra Green (six digs), Bristol Christelman (eight digs), Capri Salmon (15 assists), and Riley DeGroot (11 kills, seven digs).

Unbeaten in conference play at 4-0, Mt. SAC will travel to East Los Angeles College (8-4, 2-2) for an SCC match on Friday, Oct. 7, at 6 p.m. The Mounties are ranked No. 10 in the state in the most recent California Community College Women's Volleyball Coaches Association poll.
