Competitors from 18 teams, including community colleges and universities, gathered to compete in the Redlands Invitational on Friday, March 17. Athletes from the Mt. San Antonio College Women's Track and Field team placed first in one event, second in two, and third in three.
Ahnyx Bush finished first in the triple jump with a distance of 11.62 meters for the Mounties, while teammate Summer Stevenson finished second in the same event with a jump of 11.60 meters.
In the 400 meter, Mt. SAC's Amari Weatherford placed second with a time of 57.58 seconds.
Third-place finishes for the Mounties included Yasmeen Delgado in the 800 meters (2:21.64), Trista Michael in the 1500 meters (4:49.90), and Ingrid Tamayo in the 3000 meters (11:11.10).
