(Aliso Viejo, CA) In a field of 19 schools, athletes from the Mt. San Antonio College Women's Track and Field team turned in six first-place, one second-place, and two third-place finishes at the 2023 Soku University Indoor Qualifier Meet on Saturday, Feb. 18.
Amari Weatherford (60 meters), Jaiden Hill (400 meters), Bailie Horton (pole vault), and Ahnyx Bush (long jump) captured first in their individual events while the 4x400 relay team (Weatherford, Charisma Collins, Tatiana Sprock, Hill) and the 4x800 relay team (Natalyn Membreno, Cassandra Apahidean, Shandy Moore, Hannah Brown) also placed first in theirs.
Summer Stevenson took second in the triple jump as Bush (triple jump) and Cyvanna Bowen (60-meter hurdles) took third in their respective events.
