Women’s Swim and Dive Team Overpowers Competition in First Conference Meet

Walnut, Calif. – In their first conference meet of the season, the Mt. SAC Women's Swim and Dive Team put on a commanding performance in their wins over both El Camino (199-62) and Cerritos (217-41). The Mounties put their skill and dominance on display as they earned first place finishes in 12 out of the 15 events at the double dual meet on Friday, February 28.

 Leading the way were four standout swimmers, each earning two individual victories: Carolyn Kao (100 Free, 50 Free), Paige Fast (200 Back, 100 Back), Elleanna Ramos (200 Fly, 100 Fly), and Spencer Damaske (200 IM & 100 Breast). Additional individual wins came from Genevieve Niko in the 200 Free and Lily Burson in diving.

The Mounties also swept the relay events, taking first place in both the 200 Medley Relay and the 400 Free Relay with a strong lineup of Kao, Ramos, Niko, Fast, and Eden Buell.

An impressive way to begin conference action – way to go, Mounties!
