(Walnut, CA) The recently crowned Mt. SAC Women's Swimming and Diving South Coast Conference Champions will send three swimmers and four relay teams to next weekends' California Community College Athletic Association State Championships at East Los Angeles College.

"My assistant Jodi Lepp deserves credit for how well these girls swam at conference," Mt. SAC Swimming and Diving coach Chris Jackson said.

"We are very excited that these girls have an opportunity to swim again."

Sophomore Kaitlyn Dickinson and two freshmen, Jerica Djapri and Angelica Quesada will compete in individual events. Sophomores Hannah Schmidt and Jazzie Hernandez and freshman Nikita Rubio will represent Mt. SAC in four relay teams, along with Dickinson, Djapri and Quesada.

Also competing in an individual event is Haley Service in the 1-Meter Diving event. The freshman recently took first place in the South Coast Conference Championships.

Dickinson, who swam in three individual events and one relay last year, will swim in two events, the 400 Individual Medley and 200 Butterfly.

Dickinson broke her own SCC 200 Fly record last weekend.

Comprising the 200 and 400 Medley Relay team at state will be Djapri, Rubio, Hernandez and Dickinson.

The 800 Free Relay team will be represented by Dickinson, Schmidt, Hernandez and Quesada, while Schmidt, Djapri, Quesada and Dickinson will swim in the 400 Free Relay.
