San Bernardino Ends Mt. SAC Women's Soccer Season in Double Overtime

(San Bernardino, CA) At the end of regulation, No. 16 Mt. SAC (14-7-3) and No. 8 San Bernardino College (15-3-3) played to a scoreless tie in a second-round match of the California Community College Athletic Association Southern California Regionals on Tuesday, Nov. 26. Tied 1-1 after the first overtime period, the Wolverines scored the winning goal late in the second overtime period to end the Mounties' season, 2-1, and advance to the next round.

Liani Sanchez scored Mt. SAC's only goal at the 100:35 mark on an assist from Britany Serrano to tie the match, 1-1. San Bernardino's decisive score came at 118:55.

Gabrielle Leon had four saves in 120 minutes for the Mounties.

Today's match concludes Mt. SAC's season. The team will return to action in the fall of 2020. See you then!
