(Torrance, CA) Mt. SAC (13-6-2, 5-3-0) closed out its regular-season schedule with a 4-0 South Coast Conference win at El Camino (4-13-4, 2-6-0), on Thursday night.
Up 1-0 after an own-goal score by the Warriors, Alyssa Gomez scored at the 30:58 mark on an assist from Emily Hernandez to put the Mounties up, 2-0. Kharishma Soma followed up with a goal at the 36:15 mark on an assist from Taylor Moose and Gomez. Liani Sanchez added an insurance goal on a penalty shot at the 38:28 mark to seal the victory.
Goalkeepers Gabrielle Leon (45 minutes) and Sophia Kramar (45 minutes) combined to keep El Camino scoreless.
The California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Regional Play-Off pairings have yet to be announced.
