(Walnut, CA) Rio Hondo College (12-1-3, 5-0) visited Mt. SAC (10-6-2, 2-3) for a South Coast Conference match on Friday and came away with a 1-0 victory to stay atop the SCC standings.
The Mounties had six shots on goal but failed to convert on any of them. The Roadrunners' only shot on goal was successful and was all they needed to seal the win.
Mt. SAC will travel to Monterey Park on Tuesday, Nov. 5, to take on East Los Angeles College (2-8-5, 1-1-3) in an SCC match up at 4 p.m.
