(Walnut, CA) With goals from five players, Mt. SAC (9-3-2, 1-0) opened its South Coast Conference schedule with a 6-0 win against Compton College (3-4-4, 0-1) on Friday night.
Hannah Grady led the Mounties with two goals and an assist, while teammates Liani Sanchez (one assist), Alyssa Gomez (one assist), Britany Serrano, and Taylor Moose each scored a goal in the victory. Stephanie Robles, Kharishma Soma, and Kimberly Munoz each had an assist for Mt. SAC.
Goalkeepers Gabrielle Leon (60 minutes, two saves) and Sophia Kramar (30 minutes, two saves) combined to stop the Tartars from scoring.
Los Angeles Harbor College (5-6-1, 0-1) will visit the Mounties on Tuesday, Oct. 22, in an SCC matchup at the Mt. SAC Soccer Complex at 6 p.m. Mt. SAC is currently ranked No. 15 on the most recent California Community College Sports Information Association state poll.
