Mt. SAC Women's Soccer Shuts Out Citrus, Runs Unbeaten Home Streak to Four

Alyssa Gomez - Mt. SAC Women's Soccer

(Walnut, CA) One goal was all Mt. SAC (4-1-1) needed to run its unbeaten home streak to four on Friday night at the Mt. SAC Soccer Complex. That goal came in the 19th minute from Alyssa Gomez, on an assist from Britany Serrano, to down visiting Citrus College (2-3) by the score of 1-0.

In 90 minutes of play, goalkeeper Sophia Kramar saved all three shots on goal for the Mounties to keep the visiting Owls scoreless. In six matches this season, Mt. SAC has only allowed four goals while scoring 15.

The Mounties will host the College of Southern Nevada (6-1) on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 5 p.m. The Coyotes compete in the Scenic West Athletic Conference of the National Junior College Athletic Association.

Southern Nevada defeated Mt. SAC, 2-0, in 2018, and the Mounties were victorious, 2-0, in 2017.
