(Monterey Park, CA) Another game, another shutout! After starting the season 1-3-1, the Mounties are no doubt the hottest team around with three consecutive shutouts in a row and winners of four of the last five games.

The latest, a 1-0, win over East L.A. College Tuesday afternoon in the opening game of the South Coast Conference.

At the 25-minute mark, freshman forward Kin Spencer gave the Mounties the, 1-0, lead which stood up for the remainder of the game.

Sophomore goal keeper Cassidy Mount made eight saves en route to the shutout. Mount leads the state with 79 saves on the season.

The Mounties continue South Coast Conference action next Tuesday at Rio Hondo at 6:00 pm.
