(WILMINGTON) Midfielder Hallie Culotti has been on a late-season scoring tear.

And it couldn't be any better timing as the Mounties have three remaining regular-season games in the season with the playoffs just around the corner.

The freshman has scored seven goals in the last ten games, including two against L.A. Harbor in a 4-0 South Coast Conference North crossover win Tuesday afternoon at the Wilmington campus.

The Mounties improved to 7-6-3 overall and is third in the SCC North with a 2-1-2 record.

A big game looms this Friday for Mt. SAC against Chaffey College, which is atop the North standings at 4-0-2. Game time is 4:00 p.m.

With the win, Mt. SAC is in the midst of a five-game unbeaten streak, outscoring the opposition, 17-1.

"It's a good time of the season to be on this streak," said Mt. SAC coach Melinda Bowen as the team headed off to L.A. Harbor.

Culotti started the scoring at the 25-minute mark with an assist from freshman midfielder Stephania Gonzalez.

Freshman forward India Hines, on an assist from Jordan Snowden, gave the Mounties a 2-0 lead in the 38th minute. The goal was the sixth of the season for Hines.

In the second half Culotti scored her team-leading eighth goal of the season at 53 minutes (Mia Trugerro assist) for the 3-0 lead, followed two minutes later (55th minute) with a goal from freshman forward Kaliah Redwood (Bryana Medina assist) for the 4-0 final.

Redwood is second on the team in scoring with seven goals.

Sophomore goal keeper Britain Chaputa won her third game of the season with two shutouts.
