(Walnut, CA) The Mt. SAC Wrestling Program fielded two teams for their 2019 Mt. SAC Duals Tournament and hosted seven other colleges on Saturday.
Each of the Mounties' teams competed in separate pools, finishing with a combined 4-3 overall record. In Pool A, Mt. SAC's White Team lost to Sierra, 30-22, defeated Rio Hondo, 30-22, and lost to Palomar, 30-25.
In Pool B, the Mounties' Maroon Team topped East Los Angeles, 27-18, beat Santa Ana, 48-10, lost to Modesto, 28-12, and defeated Palomar, 39-16, in a crossover match.
With three wins, Mt. SAC's Maroon Team took second place in Pool B, while the White Team took third in Pool A.
The Mounties will compete in the West Hills Tournament in Lemoore, CA, on Saturday, Sept. 28, beginning at 9 a.m.
