(Northview H.S., Covina, CA) The Mt. SAC Wrestling Team claimed the Southern California Wrestling Association Southwest Conference Championship by defeating Santa Ana College 31-10. The Mounties finished the conference with a perfect 4-0 record. The Mounties dominated the Dons who were only able to pick up points at the 157 pound weight class with a major decision (4 points) and a forfeit (6 points) at the 184 pound class.
"Winning conference is a tremendous accomplishment for this team," replies Head Coach David Rivera. "We now must prepare for the challenge of taking on Fresno City College for the state dual team championship."

Later in the day, the Mounties defeated 4-year university, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, 30-11, to finish the season with a perfect 4-0 dual team conference record and 13-0 in dual meet competition overall.
The Mounties will return back to Gym 3 at Mt. San Antonio College Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 4:00 pm to vie for the 2015 California Community College Athletic Association Dual Team Wrestling Championship. The Mounties will challenge defending Champion, Fresno City College and try to avenge their loss in last seasons Dual Team Championship, which was held in Fresno.
