
El Cajon, Calif. – In their final invitational before the start of conference competition, the Mt. San Antonio College Women's Golf Team secured a second-place finish at the Cuyamaca Invitational, held at Cottonwood Golf Club. The Mounties posted a team score of 335, coming in behind Orange Coast College, who continued their dominance with a first-place score of 316. Fullerton College rounded out the top three with a 414.
Kyrie Padero led the way for Mt. SAC with a team-best score of 80, followed closely by team captain Kaitlyn Wang, who carded an 81. Lauren Grant-Timassy and Abigail Price each added scores of 87 to the team total, while Leah Garcia and Evangeline Rodriguez posted scores of 89 and 90, respectively.

The Mounties kick off conference play on Monday, September 15, at Costa Mesa Country Club in a match hosted by Orange Coast College.
