(Mission Viejo, CA) In the eighth Orange Empire Conference match of the season, Mt. SAC placed fifth with a team score of 395 at the par-72 Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club on Wednesday. Host Saddleback took first place with 305 points and Orange Coast (329 points) and College of the Desert (369) placed second and third, respectively.
Kat Cervantes finished with a score of 85 to lead the Mounties, while teammate Jule Gutierrez posted a 99.
Mt. SAC will next compete in the OEC Finals at Menifee Lakes Country Club in Menifee on Monday, Nov. 1, and Wednesday, Nov. 3. The competition is set to get underway at 11 a.m. on both days.
