(Palm Desert, CA) The Mt. SAC Women's Golf team returned to the golf course for the second Orange Empire Conference match, Wednesday September 22.
The OEC match, hosted by College of the Desert, was held at Ironwood Country Club in Palm Desert.
Saddleback College came away with first place with a team score of 321. That was followed by Orange Coast College, 2nd (345), Cuyamaca, 3rd (353), COD, 4th (384), Mt. SAC, 5th (400), Mt. San Jacinto, 6th (408) and Fullerton, 7th (453).
Chelsea Gutierrez of Fullerton College and Meah Collins of OCC tied for low medalist with a 4-over par 76 on the South course.
Katerina Cervantes led the Mounties with a 90. She was followed by Jule Gutierrez (102) and Emilia Hickman (104) and Payton Dawson (104).
The Mounties continue OEC play with Match No. 3, Monday September 27 at Costa Mesa CC.
