(Walnut, CA) In a non-conference matchup, Orange Coast College (5-0) handed host Mt. San Antonio College (2-2) a 60-52 defeat on Wednesday, Nov. 16.
Kamesha Moore led the Mounties with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while teammate Briana Lizardi added 11 points. Kameria Piggee also grabbed eight rebounds for Mt. SAC.
The Pirates' Meghan McIntyre led all players with 30 points and teammate Savannah Seiler pulled down a game-high 16 rebounds.
Though they came up short on the scoreboard, the Mounties outrebounded Orange Coast, 48-36.
Mt. SAC will return to action at home in a non-conference game against Palomar College (3-0) on Wednesday, Nov. 23, at 3 p.m.
