(Los Angeles, CA) Five Mt. SAC players scored in double digits as the Mounties (20-6, 5-1) handed Los Angeles Trade Tech (14-12, 1-5) a 69-52 South Coast Conference North Division defeat on Wednesday, Feb. 12. The win keeps Mt. SAC atop the SCC North standings, a full game ahead of Rio Hondo College (19-7, 4-2).
Lauryn Manns led the Mounties with 16 points as teammates Remy Hare and Taylor Shelby added 12 each. Mina Guevera-Goss and Skylarr Little posted 10 points apiece to round out the double-digit scorers from Mt. SAC. Little grabbed a game-high nine rebounds, while Aujane Mayes led all players with seven assists.
The Mounties will host East Los Angeles College (15-10, 1-4) on Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 5 p.m. Mt. SAC defeated the Huskies on Jan. 31, 79-62.
