(Walnut, CA) Mark your calendars for Friday, May 12th at 4:00 pm and Saturday, May 13th at 2:00 pm to cheer on the #2 seeded Mt. SAC Softball team (37-5) as they host the #7 Bakersfield College Renegades (28-14) in the CCCAA Super Regional Playoffs.
After suffering an 8-7 defeat earlier in the season, the Mounties seek redemption against the Renegades and are determined to secure a spot in the CCCAA State Championship Tournament.
This series also marks a rematch of last year's Super Regional, where Mt. SAC triumphed over Bakersfield in the third and final game. In the past 10 encounters between these two teams, the Mounties hold an impressive 8-2 record.
The winner of this series will advance to the CCCAA State Championship Tournament starting on Thursday, May 18th to Sunday, May 21st, hosted by Mt. San Antonio College.
