Seven Mountie Softball Student-Athletes Earn Post Season Honors

Seven Mountie Softball Student-Athletes earned post-season honors for the 2021 season. 

Voted on and presented by the California Community College Fastpitch Coaches Association (CCCFCA), freshman second baseman Alyssa Castaneda (South Hills) and sophomore pitcher Annalisa Panuco (Etiwanda HS) were two of 36 players to earn All-State Honors.

Freshman outfielder Emily Barba (Colony HS), sophomore outfielder Mikenna Barcelona (Diamond Ranch HS) and freshman shortstop Ariana Coronado (Etiwanda HS) earned All-Southern California Team Honors.

In the classroom, sophomore outfielders Hannah Mendez (Chino Hills HS) and Angie Oliva (Rancho Cucamonga HS) earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Academic All-American honors.

The defending state champion Mounties finished the shortened and non-conference 2021 CoVID season with an 11-5 overall record.
