(LOUISVILLE, KY) The Mt. SAC Women's Softball Program was named the winner of the 2017 Diamond Kinetics/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Technology Scholarship.  

The scholarship rewards one fastpitch high school team, college or training facility that has integrated technology into their respective program throught the preceding year.   Winners receive a receive a $500 technology stipend and $2,000 in Diamond Kinetics products for continued technology development.

"I am extremely honored and excited to have our program receive the Diamon Kinetic Scholarship," replied Head Coach and 2017 South Coast Conference Coach of the Year Ruby Rojas.  "We are excited to use the additional technology to help our student/athletes succeed on the field.

The 2017 South Coast Conference Coach of the Year was also recently featured in article by Flosoftball.com about her work promoting softball throughout the world.

The winners were nominated by NFCA member coaches and selected by Diamond Kinetics.  The recipients were announced at the conclusion of JT Gasso's (Oklahoma) Technology's Role in Building Elite Hitters" presented by Diamond Kinetics presentation.
