Men's Cross Country takes first at Oxnard Invite

(Oxnard, CA) With a team score of 28, Mt. San Antonio College placed first at the 2022 Oxnard Cross Country Invitational on Friday, Sept. 9. Glendale College (52 points) and Santa Monica College (84) finished second and third, respectively.

In a field of 78 runners, 15 Mounties finished in the top 30 on the four-mile course, including four in the top 10. Jesse Alvarado (20:21.8) and Elijah Ocegueda (20:23.7) finished first and second for Mt. SAC, while teammates Jonathan Aguilar (20:47.8) and Max Loera (21:08.7) finished ninth and 10th.

The Mounties will compete in the University of California at Riverside Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 17, at 8 a.m.
