Three Mountie Runners Finish in Top 10 as Mt. SAC Men's Cross Country Takes Second at Fresno Invitational

(Fresno, CA) With a team score of 43 points, the Mt. SAC Men's Cross Country Team finished in second place behind San Diego Mesa (37 points) at the 2019 Fresno City College Invitational at Woodward Park on Saturday. American River placed third as a team with 100 points.

Isaiah Wilson finished in first place for the Mounties, clocking in with a time of 20:54.4 on the four-mile course. Zackary Alexander (21:06.3) and Daniel Abdala (21:16.0) finished in third and seventh places, respectively.

Lorenzo Orozco (21:21.4, 12th place), Vicente Huerta (21:38.0, 21st), David Bazaldua (21:45.4, 26th), Christian Dinglasan-Sanders (21:50.1, 30th), and Zachariah Budd (21:50.4, 31st) rounded out the field of Mt. SAC runners who finished in the top 31.

The Mounties will participate in the Southern California Preview Meet at Mission Park in San Diego on Friday, Sept. 13, at 10 a.m.
