(Torrance, CA) With 6,138 points, Mt. San Antonio College's Max Daniels finished first in the decathlon at the California Community College Athletic Association SoCal Regional Multi Championships held at El Camino College on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 5-6.
Daniels placed first in three individual events: the 100-meter run (11.30 seconds), the long jump (6.85 meters), and the pole vault (4.23 meters). He also finished second in the 400-meter run (51.15 seconds), the 110-meter hurdles (16.11 seconds), and the discus throw (33.98 meters).
The Mounties Men's Track and Field team will compete in the Sun Angel Classic and Combined Events Meet at Arizona State University on Thursday-Saturday, April 7-9, and the Mt. SAC Relays on Saturday, April 9.
