Men's Track & Field keeps busy at three meets in three days

(Riverside and Westwood, CA) The Mt. San Antonio College Men's Track and Field team participated in three meets from Thursday through Saturday, March 24-26.

At the UC Riverside Spring Classic on Thursday and Friday, Max Daniels placed fourth in the decathlon with 5,503 points for the Mounties.

With a time of 29:19.23, Mt. SAC's Daniel Abdala took first in the 10,000-meter at the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival held at UCLA on Friday. Teammate Jesus Alvarado placed fourth in the same event, turning in a time of 29:55.20.

UCLA was the site of the Rafer Johnson and Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invite where four Mounties turned in first-place finishes on Saturday. Mt. SAC athletes also placed second in three events and third in two events.

The Mounties will next compete in the Arnie Robinson Invitational at San Diego Mesa College on Friday, April 1. No fooling.
