Against a world-class triple jumper from Japan, 2017 US Junior Championships Finalist (6th), Bradon McLaurin took second, but posted the state's leading community college mark of 47'09".

Other highlights included the high flying pole vaulters who took six of the eight top places and the swift sprint group which captured both heats of the 4X100 Relay and posted the fastest two times in that event.

The Mounties will compete next Friday and Saturday at the Beach Opener at Cal State Long Beach.
