(San Mateo, CA)  The 2012-13 National Association Two-Year Athletic Administrators (NATYAA) Cup Championship could well be decided on the track at the 2013 CCCAA State Track and Field Championships.  Mt. SAC is the current leader with conference rival Cerritos College right behind.  Cerritos has an excellent opportunity to capture this weekends state track and field championship in both the men's and women's competitions and could challenge the Mounties for the top spot.  Fresno City College, Santa Rosa College and American River College could also challenge for the championship with strong track and field programs.

The California State Community College Track and Field State Championships will be held on Friday, May 17th and Saturday, May 18th at the beautiful and scenic College of San Mateo Track in San Mateo, California.

The annual NATYCAA Cup Championship is presented to an California Community College Athletic Program to recognize and reward overall program excellence at the two-year college level.  Since its inception, Mt. SAC has captured two championships, 5 second place, one fourth place and one sixth place honor in the NATYCAA Cup Championships.
