Mountie Men's Soccer Comes Away with SCC Crossover Tie Against Long Beach City

(Long Beach, CA) For the second time in as many games, Mt. San Antonio College (3-4-7, 1-1-2) played to a South Coast Conference draw, this time a 3-3 affair against host Long Beach City College (7-3-3, 1-1-2) in a crossover matchup on Friday, Oct. 13.

The Vikings held a 3-2 lead in the second half until Victor Fregoso connected for the Mounties on an unassisted goal at the 70:58 mark to tie the game for good. Fregoso also accounted for Mt. SAC's other scores: at the 13:56 mark on an assist from Frank Gonzalez and an unassisted score at the 52:24 mark.

In 90 minutes, goalie Daniel Ramirez made two saves.

The Mounties will begin a three-game homestand with an SCC North matchup against Pasadena City College (6-5-3, 1-2-1) on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 4:30 p.m.
