(Torrance, CA) In the consolation game of the South Coast Conference Tournament, No. 1 seed Mt. SAC (14-2-2, 8-1-2) defeated No. 4 El Camino (16-4-1, 7-4-1) by the score of 3-0 to take third place.

The Mounties struck early on a goal by Edward Castro (Gabriel Arredondo, Jason Garcia assists) at the 1:38 mark. Garcia accounted for the next two scores on assists from Arredondo (8:29) and Paul Iniguez (53:55).

Ryan Molina-Castillo (62:14, two saves) and Jacob Cardenas (27:46, one save) combined in goal to keep the Warriors scoreless.

Mt. SAC now awaits the pairing announcements for the California Community College Athletic Association Regionals, which begin on Saturday, Nov. 20.
