(Walnut, CA) The 2016 California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) State Champion, Mt. SAC Men's Soccer Team captured 24 post season accolades including South Coast Conference (SCC) and SoCal Coach of the Year Honors for Head Coach, Juan Sanchez.
Michael Flores and Edwyn Gutierrez both earned SCC Player of the Year Honors (offense and defense) and National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-America First Team Honors. Miguel Martinez joins, Flores and Gutierrez, earning NSCAA First Team Honors, while Axel Mendez earned All-America Second Team Honors. All four men also earned NSCAA All-West Region First Team Honors.
